  1. use the top tuners to tune it up to an A, it just slipped, happens to my cello a lot, just make sure to push the tuner inward as well so it stays


  2. no its not normal maybe ur g is overtuned but anyway ur a string should but much sharper than the g it must be undertuned. use a pitch pipe or look at these videos....

  3. Your string has slipped down a whole step;  you just need to tune your strings.  See:

  4. Your string is simply out of tune, no biggie, just tune it up a whole step. You can use a chromatic tuner, just make sure that the letter A is on the screen, and make sure you don't tune it up higher, the string could pop. If you don't feel comfortable, have someone you trust tune it for you. Best of luck with your violin.
