The package also offers its frequent users specialised privileges at luxurious hotels, entertainment and rewards to many worldwide destinations. VISA will also provide its Infinite and Platinum card holders who also happen to be frequent worldwide travelers,
easy-to-buy shopping facilities and after sale warranties at several duty free shops at various international airports. Customers can now benefit from travel insurances as well as booking advance tickets for their travels.
This was done particularly keeping in view Dubai’s indulgence in the sport at the highest international level. Hesham Al Qassim, the owner of Dubai Golf and CEO of Wasl, one of the main operators in the world, is also confident of the sport’s success in
this part of the world.
He said, “2010 was a very successful year for Dubai Golf. The results that we have achieved so far in 2011 have also been very encouraging and we have seen positive growth in all areas of the business at both Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht
Club, in particular we have seen a significant increase in the number of overseas players at both clubs which is encouraging for the remainder of the year.”
The city has seen some of the mainstream PGA professional tours being held at different golf courses around the city, which provided facilities and conditions even better than many European and American courses.
