VOB converter?

Anyone got or know a GOOD free VOB converter ? i cant seem to convert VOBs very good. The sound goes all funny and is always out of sync after converting to AVI or MPG. Can anyone help?

    I personally use ultimate DVD + Video converter suite.

    It works very well
