VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS??? I AM SOOO NERVOUS

omg volleyball tryouts are comin up in a month and i am so scared cause i love volleyball to death and if i dont make the team i will be crushed i already made athletics so that is good but i need to make the team if i make b team i will be kinda sad but i will still be happy but if i make a team yay but i need tips on making me a better player to tips making the coach noticing you and liking you oh and if there are any volleyball team people who went to cedar park middle school e mail please thanks

I always notice players who hustle their butts off, talk A LOT, and work really hard.  I would rather have a girl with decent athletic ability and great work ethic than an awesome player who is lazy.  Make sure you encourage the other players by complimenting them when they do well or by letting them know that they will get the next one.  Hope this helps!

well, when i was in middle school and tried out for the vball team in 7th grade, i was so convinced i was going to make A team. i had it in the bag!! then the day came when the teams were posted, and i was on B team. turned out, i thought i was awesome, when i really just sucked at volleyball...i full on sucked. i was crushed!! that practice, i took all my anger out on our serving practice and my coach noticed me. he started complimenting me and i felt really good! i started working harder and harder and soon, i was starter!! i played every single game, and people in my grade began to compliment me on my determination and how i was becoming better than people on the A team. now i'm a sophomore in high school, and im starter for my JV team. Sure i'm not on varsity, but who wants the pressure? Lol.  I'm happy with where I am.

Just work hard, go for every single ball that comes within a 5 foot radius to you. Even if you don't get hte ball, the coaches will love the fact that you're falling over trying to get points for your team. Thats better than some one who sees that the ball is going to be too far and that they cant get it so they stand there and wait for it to drop. GO FOR IT!! Good luck!!
