VP Debate - What do you think?

Question

Anyone looking forward to seeing the debate between the VP candidates? Either way you feel, please elaborate why you feel that way. Also, let's please keep the insults to a minimum and leave the mud slinging to those running for office. ;o)

I am very excited. I am wondering how Sarah Palin is going to explain to Biden how governing over a town of 5500 gives her foreign policy experience. Or maybe as Doocey said on Fox she can do it because Russia is next to Alaska. Or that she says she has anything to do with the 18 million cracks that Hillary left? And then Biden can tell her......"Im sorry Senator Palin, but you are no HRC"

The VP debate will be like watching comedy central. Palin will look like an idiot.

Palin, with her new born infant with Downs syndrome left at home either will be really thinking of her family too much to even be a halfway acceptable VP, or she is a disgrace for not staying home with her 5 children. WHY did she have them if she did not care to personally look after them, love them and nuture them? Go figure. The VP would not be a 9-5 job, what are they thinking?

Biden will try to be polite and she will be viscious. However Biden if unscripted will, kind of inintentionally really let her have it in only one or two sentences that will pretty much flatten her once and for all.

The debate will be won depending on the topic.

Biden can put his foot in his mouth, but he is also quite good at relating and chatting to all kinds of different people. He's also a very good debater.

Palin should be able to hold her own on topics such as: Alaska, abortion, the oil industry, and commercial fishing.

Biden will clean her clock on topics such as: China, Latin America, the Middle East, Russia, the banking system (Delaware, remember?), agricultural policy, the tech industry, the judicial system (he's on that committee too), Medicare, Social Security, the elderly, immigration policy, the trade deficit, the federal budget, competing in a global economy, higher ducation, big city crime, alternative energy,  the environment, and domestic violence.There are more, but you get my point.

All he has to do is refrain from being snarly or sarcastic, be polite and gracious, and focus on the details. He is capable of doing that at least some of the time.

Yes. Palin will put Biden to shame. It's gonna be great! It's simple...she's an honest person and he's not. People will be able to see that.

Looking forward to both The presidential & VP debates.

Given the fact that Obama seems to need a script and teleprompter, I do believe he will implode. Then on the VP debate we'll see an old pit-bull senator attacking a young rising star that actually will tear him apart.

I feel confident that with Biden's well rounded experience, poise and confidence, he will massacre Palin in a debate. Her hockey/PTA Mom speech seemed inappropriate to me. She is in the big leagues now. I suspect Palin is WAY over her head.

Honestly I think it's going to be pretty one sided. Biden is a Washington vet and expert in foreign policy. Sarah Palin has no foreign policy experience. She might be a nice woman but how does she plan on going head to head w/the chair of the foreign relations committee on subjects like Iran and Georgia?

I sure am looking forward to that.  Biden is going to tear Palin a new one!  He has much more experience than her.  Especially when the questions come down to foreign affairs.  He is an expert on foreign affairs.  Palin has ZERO experience with foreign affairs!  Literally ZERO.  That is not a figure of speech.  So, she better get briefed now or else she is in for one h**l of a night because we all know that is going to be a big topic at the debate.

They should have the "senior" candidates debate each other .. Oh yeah ... Alaska Govermor Sarah Palin has MORE TOTAL political experience than Obama!!

Biden shouldn't underestimate Palin. Palin has barl and a lot of bite. Biden can't touch her on the abortion issue.

Biden will lose any debate where he hasn't been given the questions in advance so that he has a chance to go plagiarize some answers.
