VPN connects Remote desktop will not

Question

Greetings,Trying to connect from one corp network to another via VPN and Remote Desktop. VPN will connect just fine but the Remote desktop rejects the connection. If I take the laptop out of the office and jack it into my home's wired network it will connect to the VPN and the remote desktop just fine. I believe it is a firewall issue. Anyone care to offer a more educated opinion and maybe some solutions? I'm just now learing corporate networking in a sink or swim office environemnt. I will be back to rate this.-WN
