VTech Cordless Phone Question?

Okay so I want to buy a VTech DECT 6.0 Cordless Dual Handset Phone with Answering Machine.

Is this a good brand and is it a good phone? Anyone have it and is currently using it?

  1. can i use my old vtech phones with new vtech phones both5.8hz


  2. 'no line' appears on the visual.....no calls in or out.  I have an old touch tone onthe same land line that works fine....however  want to use the cordless.
