Rehman with this question it sounds exactly like my husband and me,but the bitter opponent is my mother in law..

I tried the 'deaf' routine also,but it is hard to appear deaf to neumerous insults.

So the next step to preventing WW3 was to take myself out of the situation..

(ie) i do not speak to M-I-L...
