"I think Australia is going to be a very important series. But we are very happy with the way we have played in the last two Tests. In the Delhi Test we forced our way out of a tough situation. That showed the potential in the team,” said the Indian veteran.
"It's good that we go to Australia with a positive frame of mind and a lot of confidence. The results show that West Indies haven't done well, but if you look at every session, I would say they were quite good," Laxman said.
The player has featured in 25 Tests involving his national team and the Aussies, scored over 2000 runs at an impressing average of 55.59 – the best against Kangaroos by an Indian.
A difficult task lies ahead, however given the form of batsman; he will again look to initiate one last try at over powering the Kangaroos on their backyard before finally bidding farewell to International Cricket.
