Got the timing belt and water pump changed and now the air conditioner doesn't blow any cold air. The shop says they had nothing to do with it, but don't they have to do something with the a/c system to access the timing belt?

  1. They absolutely did something wrong. They probably had to remove the a/c belt to get to the timing belt, and never put it back on. It might even be the same belt, I don't know. Your best bet is to jack the car up look for a pulley with no belt on it. If so, bring it to a different shop or back to the shop you previously brought it to and tell them you know they f-ed up.

  2. Its possible they let out all of the refridgerant when they serviced your car, get an ac recharge and see if that solves it.
