Okay, i have a '02 Passat, and recently had an oil change and the techs apparently didn't put the plastic part that runs from the bumper to about the wheels. This part is body colored and appears to have had vents and ducts..... mine is in shreds so i cant really tell. Thanks for the help.

  1. On my Jetta it's called a front spoiler and it's molded to the bumper.  I once got it caught on an unusually high parking block when I was reversing at 3 mph and it ripped off (I am not kidding).  It was almost $1000 to fix it.

  2. Lower Engine Cover

There is a bunch of hardware that attaches it to the bottom of the car.  3 silver screws, 3 black screws, 4 Large black screws that attach it to the fender liners.

You have to remove it to change the oil, so you might be able to blame the oil change place.  They might buy you a new one.

The engine cover is close to $250

  3. It is called a spoiler.  Why would they even touch it?   it is not in their way.
