  1.  My 2001 1.8T Beetle, on cold mornings ALMOST starts....for about 2 seconds...then dies.  It will not start and stay running.  Later on in the day when things warm up, it starts and runs fine.  I have no idea what could be causing this.  There seems to be no way to get it started on these cold mornings.
