  1. The black hole, of course.  The gravitational pull of Canis Majoris would definitely be something, but it would be no match for a supermassive black hole.

  2. supermassive black holes power the spin of GALAXIES... one little star?... pfffft!

  3. In an interstellar fight, all that counts is mass.

Not size (radius), not luminosity.  Just mass.

A supermassive black hole can have a mass of millions or trillion solar masses.

VY Canis Majoris is the largest known star by radius (about 1800-2200 the radius of the sun) but its not the most massive star (that would be Eta Carinae at 150 solar masses).

VY would lose to a supermassive black hole every time.

    So would Eta Carinae.

Both would also lose in a fight with a stellar-mass black hole.  The black hole would simply "eat" the material of the star and incorporate that mass into itself.
