Vacation in Nassau, Bahamas?

Question

My sister is planning a trip to the bahamas as a graduation gift. During spring break, April 2009. We aren't going to have a big group. Just her, one or two of her friends, myself and one of my friends, and my parents. So a total of 6 or seven people. We are looking to stay at the Atlantis. We will probably have two or three rooms. Has anyone stayed at the atlantis or do you have in other hotel spots?

We also wouldn't mind getting a hotel that has suites so we can all share and my parents will have a separate room. Any good hotels that offer suites?

We would like a nice, quality hotel, But not too pricey.

Another resort to check out is Comfort Suites Paradise Island. You have guest privileges at Atlantis including beach,pools,water slides etc. They have suites.

Passports will cost with photos about $100 per person. You can download the forms from the gov. website but must apply in person the first time applying. At your local post office they accept applications. Plan on 6-8 week processing time. Here is the link

The Bahamas are very beautiful. But do you have your heart set on Nassau? There are plenty of other islands that are just as beautiful and maybe a bit more secluded. I am not really sure what you want.

But I have stayed at Atlantis before. (Royal Towers) And it was worth the money.
