I'm trying to plan a trip to Rome, Italy for one week and am thinking of the first week in September. I'm hoping that the weather will be warm but not hot and the crowds not so abundant? Also, how is the public transportation to and from downtown?

  1. Rome has a good subway and it's easy to find a cab.

The crowds will be heavy during that time, but any time of year it can be busy in Rome.

    have fun... Rome rules.

  2. My trip to Italy was one of the best times of my life! Buses are the easiest cheapest form of public transportation and yes there is. But be very careful, people pick-pocket like no other in Rome so I'd suggest you buy a f***y pack. My  brother and I laughed at the people who had them until someone stole 100 euros from his wallet..

    Have fun!!

  3. Rome in September is spectacular. The weather is still warm and is not so crowded. Transportation is rather efficient, there are buses and trains that connect the town to the airports and stations. Have a nice holiday!
