Vacation reccomendations?

Well my family and I want to go on a vacation, the last one we went to was to mexico when I was in 6th grade. (I will be in 11th next year). There are 2 adults and 2 kids, I am 16 and my brother is 14. We've already been to Mexico and to Hawaii many times. We really want to go somewhere new but not somewhere that is going to be outrageously expensive, and hopefully a majority is english speaking. Our budget is 4000$ including the plane, hotel & car. I wanted to go to Paris or Japan but my parents said no and my mom wants to go to Hawaii again and my dad wants to go to Canada. Any reccomendations?

I have done Ireland and it was really great.  It's only a 6 hour flight from New York -- I live in Cali too so its longer.  I have also been to the Carribean - highly reccomend Tortula/Jost Van d**e in the British Virgin Islands -- waaaay better than Hawaii

i would suggest Belize, it is a very nice country, try staying off the resort if you really want to enjoy a foriegn country
