Vacation spot out of USA, first time? kids grew up so no more amusement parks and Disney world=P?

i would love to visit europe

the only way i would want to go to a tropical island or central/south america would be on a cruise so i'm thinking europe

any suggestions?

if you fancy Europe, then go for it ... yes Europe is expensive, especially if you stay in capital cities so you'd need to shop around for good deals ... the best way would be if you could do your own internet searches for reasonably priced airfares and accommodation

I live in Europe, but my dream holiday is Egypt, trip down the Nile, Giza, Valley of the Kings etc.  My parents are in Egypt right now & before they left they showed me the "trip timetable".  It's to die for.  

If you do go to Europe, see Rome, it's beautiful, but see it briefly as it's expensive (all European capitals are expensive).

Personally????  Egypt, that's for sure.
