boston or california what is more expensive and by how much

I Like San Diego(southern Cal.) Lots to do  30 min from Mexico, Snow in the Mountains, 90 Mins from Los Angeles or Orange county....,Good Hotel rooms from about $90.00 A night.......

if you have kids go for Boston, its much more educational.  If not I would go for California because there is more to see.

Boston is way better so much history on the birth of the USA as a country and if you were to contact the AAA {auto acc.} they could make out a full travel itinerary on historical sites along the way if you do go to Boston travel the old highway instead of the interstate so much more to see
