Question:

Vacationing In The Azores: What Should I Know?

I'm an American vacationing in the Azores for the first time.

Is it just me, or does this island chain get VERY LITTLE PRESS? My sister at first had to convince me to go, but I've since looked at photos online, and it actually looks like a really beautiful, lush-green, hilly pastoral place with beautiful Protugese archetecture, and year-round daytime high's in the 60's and 70's.

Has anybody ever been to the Azores? Is it as cool as it looks? Why does nobody talk about it?
