Vacationing in Cozumel and going to visit the mainland?

I want to take the earliest ferry from Cozumel to the mainland. Are rental cars available that early?

I'm not sure about the cars...but man, the ferry was an unforgetable experience!!  It was nothing like the ferry's that we have here in Texas!!  This one was like this speed boat type thing and it was sooooo rough.  The thing never slowed down.  They were literally passing around barf bags.  There is an inside and an outside but they wouldnt let us outside that day....if you can, go outside and hang on!!!!!

Be careful of rental cars in Mexico make sure you rent from a hertz or Avis or something like that and take the insurance it's not like home where your insurance will cover an accident. If you are involved in an accident you will have to pat up front for any damage and settle later. Transportation by bus or taxi is a better route. The ferry is awesome watch the weather it's a great ride. check out the site below on more info on car rental these guys know there stuff. have a blast
