Vacationing in Middle East or Southwest Asia?

Im an American first of all, so do not tell me to go anywhere crazy. :)

Im 30 years old and want to have a good time. Im going solo, but I dont mind. I normally meet folks along the way. Any suggestions for someone who is a partys lite/medium, 30 years old, and going alone. I would prefer somewhere where this is water and my budget is 3000.00 usd plus airfare for 12 days. I like house music, women, hammocks, and fishing. Im flying out of Kuwait. Suggestions? Where are the Brits going these days? I heard Egypt.

stay in kuwait.. im in kuwait now lol :P...but if u want to experience something new go to morocco theres a lot of pretty women that can belly dance....and i love their food...or go to eygpt im not a big fan of egyptians :S their known for making trouble... but i went to sharm el sheikh in Eygpt ..its a beautiful place with lots of beautiful beaches...but don't forget to pack a calculator if your planning to go to eygpt ..u need it to check if the bills right!! :S

Egypt wouldn't be my first choice as a destination in Southwest Asia but if you're intent and want water too...

Dahab or Hergada on the Sinai Peninsula - if you're into laid back (great Scuba, sailboarding)

Or Sharm El Sheik - if you're into flashy/trashy/pricey Hard Rock type entertainment and sport fishing

The desert safari's are great and there are several deserts and services but try to go to Siwa & the Great Sand Sea, Luxor (hot air balloon rides and best hieroglyphs !) Alexandria and of course Cairo/Giza

Beware taking an American conception of male/female relations with you.  No respectable Egyptian Muslim woman would even make eye contact unnecessarily with an American traveler.  If you go to the well-touristed places like Sharm El Sheik you'll meet a lot of Russians, Germans, Eastern Europeans but plenty of Brits too.  

NOT the place to go to hook up in general but I wouldn't suggest taking a girlfriend with you either.  Middle and lower class Egyptian men don't respect foreign women enough in my opinion.  Getting touched can be a problem.
