Vacationing in Panama?

has anyone done ecotourism in Panama? What about San Blas Island? Or the river tour, Panama canal? What are prices like? It it easy enough to book tours once I get to the country or should I do it ahead of time? any recommendations..

the areas which you can do ecotourism will be "Boquete" and "Bocas del toro", those places are the most attractive places in Panama for its weather, vegetation and the variety of animals that are living there, about San Blas is located in another province the best way to go to San Blas is by plane, if you want you can check the fare of the tickets in these airlines(are local airlines)

San Blas and Bocas del toro has the best beaches in Panama it's due to the Crystalline water and the quiet places you'll find there.

well about the Panama Canal, the entrance fare has different prices but its cost is between 3 to 8 dollars per person.

Listen to me, I live here.  Whatever you do, GO TO SAN BLAS.  Please, don't miss it, it is a nearly religious experience.

I would suggest booking your tours ahead of time. There are plenty of cruises to go throught the canal if that is something you want to do.
