OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry) is a cool place to visit if you are in Portland. Depending in what kind of things you like to do, Portland has lots of options. The Oregon Zoo is also a good way to spend a summer day, besides the animals, they host concerts that are a lot of fun.

The Oregon State Fair is coming up, Aug.22-Sep.1 where you'll find rides, concerts and all sorts of good stuff. The fair is in Salem, about 45 minutes south of Portland.
