Vacuum belt replacement

Question

I used to have a Hoover TurboPower 4000 manual in a pdf. When I changed computers I must have lost/deleted it in the process. I went to the Hoover site but was not successful locating the manual... can you locate one for me or point me in the right direction. How about giving me instructions on how to get to the belt. I took off the cover on the bottom but while I could get the brush out and put the new belt on it; I could not get to the "spindle/motor shaft" at the other end. Is there a way to take off the top cover of the machine that will allow me to slip the other end of the belt?!
