Vacuum cleaner power loss

Question

Vacuum loses power while operating. Just shuts down and will not restart by toggling switch. After a brief (cool down?) period it will start.

Is there a breaker/reset? Does it have a feature that automatically shuts it down when the bag is full?

I can't locate my owner's manual, so am completely in the dark or dirt.
