1- don't use condoms. i'm on birth control..yasmin. started it like 2 months ago.

2- i'm not on my period. no where near on it.

3- i'm still bleeding[ lightly ], and it started bleeding thursday [ it started REALLY HEAVY] after some ruff s*x, and today is saturday.

  1. go see your doctor.  First do you realize that one out of 5 people have herpes and do not know it.  they may carry the disease and never shoe signs.  not using a condom is very stupid.   Getting pregnant is not the only thing that happens.  GO GET CHECKED!

  2. better go to Doctor's office than post questions here.

    this is abnormal, i think. i am a nursing student.

  3. you really need to see your gynecologist

  4. If you are not fully lubricated, having s*x can irritate the vaginal walls and can cause some bleeding, but only a tiny tiny bit.  If you are having heavy bleeding after intercourse, you really need to see a doctor because that is not normal.  You could have endometriosis or an infection of some kind.

  5. Do get this checked out, as bleeding after s*x can be due to a number of different problems.

    A possible cause of bleeding between periods and after s*x could be from a hormone imbalance. Since you use birth control pills, you could be experiencing breakthrough bleeding. If so, you will usually be advised to use an additional method of contraception and if it continues for more than two or three cycles, you may be given a higher dose of the pill.

    A cervical erosion (more properly known as an ectropion) can cause bleeding between periods or after s*x and occurs when the delicate cells lining the cervical canal also cover an area on the outer cervix. This forms a red, velvety area that bleeds easily when touched. This is a normal result of oestrogen stimulation and is common in women on the pill and during pregnancy.

    However, in some cases, vaginal bleeding after s*x can be a sign of a serious underlying problem, including:

    * Inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis).

    * Sexually transmitted diseases, such as chlamydia or gonorrhea.

    * Cervical polyps.

    * Cervical ectropion, a condition in which the cervical tissue is more susceptible to abrasion.

    * Pelvic inflammatory disease.

    * Uterine fibroids.

    * Cancer of the cervix, uterus or v****a.

    I would recommend that you consult with your doctor or gynaecologist to see what they think could be causing this.

    Good luck :)

  6. I just got one word for you.... OB/GYN

  7. Hmm. I'm not sure what could be causing it to still bleed, but maybe the next time you do have s*x use a lubricated condom? It'll probably make it go smoother, and maybe prevent the bleeding if it isn't too rough.

    And I'm not sure about this, it's mostly a guess, but maybe the hymen can heal and repair itself if its only broken once in a certain period of time..? Which might explain the bleeding.

    Regardless, if it keeps up seeing a doctor about it would be a good idea.
