Vaginal blood issues?

I have a not-so-regular menses every 2 months. I have been having unprotected s*x with my boyfriend for months now, and have noticed a streak of fresh blood 2 weeks after my cycle ended (HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!). My last period was 3 weeks ago. I'm not due for another 2 months. However, I've been having weird vaginal discharge/old blood nonstop for the past 4 days... what could this be?

Are you taking any form of birth control?  Any pills or implants?  

Edit:  That's a bit odd then.  Sometimes contraceptives can cause irregular bleeding...maybe you should take a pregnancy test and go and see your doctor.  They might give you something to regulate your cycle a bit (although a period every 2 months sounds great anyway!).

sounds like an infection, any kind of foul smell down there could very well be an infection or std of some sort, see a dr
