http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jorge-c19120 Valdano who was once the director of Real Madrid has now hailed the coaching philosophy of the former Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola has had a successful spell with the Catalans. In his four years in charge at the Camp Nou, the 41-year-old has transformed Barcelona into a super team that has mastered the art and science of playing football.
Before his departure from the club, he managed to win 14 titles with them.
This is precisely why Valdano has described Guardiola as the ‘Steve Jobs of football’ because of his innovation, unique style and love for the game of football.
Valdano believes the former Barca boss should be a reference point and a role model to all those involved in the industry of football.
"Guardiola did a fantastic http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. He is the Steve Jobs of football: experimental, brave, a lover of beauty, and innovative. He is an important point of reference in the footballing world, and rightly so.”
The former director has also commented on the kind of football the Catalans have developed in their academy and the fact they have turned their style of play into a culture.
"Barca have turned their football into a culture and everything that the youngsters learn at La Masia is then applied at the Camp Nou."
Meanwhile, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dani-Alves-c9869, has insisted on his idea that the departure of Pep was caused by the players.
The right-back believes the players did not respond to their boss in the manner he wanted. He is convinced that it is the main reason why he left.
Guardiola was believed to have said that once the players stop responding to him, he will consider leaving.
“Pep said he would leave when the players were no longer responding to him.”
The Brazilian has also revealed that his teammates still feel responsible for the departure of their much admired coach.
“We didn’t respond to him on the pitch as he’d have liked and that is why we players feel responsible for his departure.”
The Blaugrana’s style of play has not changed yet and that is due to the stable policies implemented by his former assistant and new Barcelona coach, Tito Vilanova.
