The former Sporting director of Los Blancos ha stated that the Del Bosque won the award fair and square and FIFA must prove their process to be clean.
Only a few days ago, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho slammed the official governing body of the game for holding out the process of Ballon d’Or selections without transparency.

Pandev stated that he had casted his vote in favour of Jose Mourinho, however when the results of the poll were announced with the publication of the booklet displaying the votes of the players and coaches, Pandev’s vote had been listed in Del Bosque’s favour.

"Mourinho's declarations mean that FIFA has to do something. They should prove that the voting process was clean," Valdano told El Larguero.

"Del Bosque won the election with a big margin. I do not believe that there were over 200 fraudulent votes."
Jose Mourinho did not attend the ceremony for the individual awards that was held in early January.
