What really nasty rivals can you think off?

First has to be Vale V Max (if you have not seen " Faster" get it! )

My second thought is Carl Foggy V Scott Russell.

Although they are now good mates!

Vale vs Max is the top of nasty rivals, what about Lorenzo vs Barbera? Last years they quite fought!

its not motorcycling - but boxing- marvelous marvin hagler Vs thomas the hit man hearns. if you never saw the fight.. and I never watch boxing now. these two mendid not like each other . hagler got cut first round I think told of ref it was over the eye and he would have to stop it soon. both me stood toe to toe for three rounds (again im not certain) befor hagler KOd hearns. never seen a fight like it.will never forget it either. im sure there is a record of it somewhere. check it out.

Vale and Max (obviously)

Vale and Sete (during Sete's last two seasons)

Lorenzo and everyone else! (although Barbera probably hates him the most)

Everyone in the Aspar team hate each other with a passion.

Talmacsi and Kallio (I cant believe what Gabor did to his own team mate. Mika and KTM should have been champions in 2005).

Foggy and Sheene. (I know they never raced each other, but there were some pretty harsh words exchanged before Barry sadly died).

There must be loads more. But its just one of the extra dimensions to Bike Racing that makes it so fascinating to me. You can't beat a bit of real on and off the track rivalry. I'm sure it will be very interesting in the Fiat Yamaha garage next year. (Although for the public they'll probably portray an image of "Best Buddies")

P.S. Seeing as Proc has mentioned Boxing, I'll name one of those too.........."The Dark Destroyer" Nigel Benn V "Simply the Best" Chris Eubank.  Brilliant fights, and the language outside the ring was thoroughly entertaining too.
