The Spanish La Liga side are very much interested in acquiring the services of Paris Saint-Germain striker, Kevin Gameiro who has not featured a lot for his side so far this season
Used to come to shop for talent in Ligue 1 a few years back, Spanish La Liga entertainers, Valencia are seemingly looking to return to their old habits again by raiding the league of a few of its stars. Reports in French media claim that Los Che are highly
interested in the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721. The striker is currently under contract at Paris Saint-Germain where he has not really been used that much by Carlo Ancelotti.
And, with his path to first-team action currently blocked by the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073, the striker is also keen on leaving the club as soon as possible.
Valencia were very much interested in signing Gameiro last summer but a move to the Mestalla never materialised. However, the club’s president, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 Giner has already promised that the club will conduct a lot of its transfer window business in France
this summer.
“Yes of course. But we stick to our line, which is saying nothing if no one has signed. If we say names, we open the Pandora’s box and prices rise,” said a wise http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 president who knows that the club needs another facelift in a bid to try and shake the
current status quo in Spain’s top flight football.
Gameiro has been a long-term target of the club and it appears that ahead of Valencia’s Champions League tie against PSG, Los Che sporting director spoke with his opposite number http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 in a bid to start possible negotiations over the former Lorient man’s
move to the Mestalla.
With his contract set to expire in June 2015, Gameiro would also not be against the idea of leaving Parc des Princes in a bid to play for a team that offers him ample game time in a bid to show his qualities which are not really appreciated in Paris.
Furthermore, PSG would also be willing to let him go in a bid to make space for possible new arrivals this summer.
