Valencia have joined English Premier league giants, Manchester United, in the race to sign Sporting Lisbon star, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ricky-van-Wolfswinkel-c31131. The Spanish side have reportedly taken a keen interest in the striker and will try to secure his signature in January.
Dutch International, Ricky van Wolfswinkel, has been on the radar of top European sides ever since his move to Sporting Lisbon this summer.

less especially with the form the player is in.
Although the Lions could be tempted by the prospect of a big pay-off, Van Wolfswinkel himself has reiterated his desire to ply his trade at the club for at least two more years.
Speaking to reporters, the striker said that he was enjoying his time in Liga Sagres, especially on the field and he had no intention of transferring at least until 2013.
"I hope I will stay for at least two years and that this team will stick together for that long. I really like being at Sporting and that is seen on the field. I have no reason to leave - I look around and I have all I want,” he said.
The 22-year-old also said that the Sportinguistas were a big club and he did not have any reason to leave them.
"Sporting are a really big club and their fans are fantastic. What more could I want?” Ricky van Wolfswinkel was quoted as saying.
 While Valencia’s interest is real, they have will have to battle it out with Manchester United for Van Wolfswinkel’s signature, a duel which the European heavyweights are likely to win.
