Unai Emery dropped the biggest hint on Alba’s imminent move to Barcelona, claiming that the Catalan club have already secured his signature.
Eric Abidal’s doubtful future with La Blaugrana has brought the Camp Nou-based outfit in the market for a left-back. Jordi Alba has reportedly interested his youth club, with former coach Unai Emery claiming that the deal is already in place.
The 40-year-old tactician was talking about Valencia’s footballing project when he dropped the biggest hint about the future of his former charge. He stated that Los Che have come in the habit of buying potential superstars in the making and selling them
on a profit to avoid their economic problems.
Emery had to cope up with the departures of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601 in the summer of 2010, and last year let go of Juan Mata and Joaquin Sanchez for financial gains. The Basque trainer then dropped the bombshell on Valencianistas as he claimed that Alba
is on his way out of the Mestalla as well.
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 is a team that buys players who are not the finished article and then, when they are finished, possibly sells them on, as has happened with Jordi Alba," Emery mused.
As Unai Emery makes his claims from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 utility man, Adriano, gave his thumbs up to Alba. The former Sevilla player stated that he would welcome the Spaniard to the Camp Nou despite the prospect of him adding competition to him.
Adriano was full of praise for La Masia academy player and claimed that given his skill set he will have no problem of establishing himself at the Camp Nou. The Brazilian left-back highlighted Alba’s technical ability and reliability in defence to support
his argument.
"I really like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 said while talking to media representative at a press conference.
"He can also do a lot of damage when he goes up the field and he has a lot of technical quality.”
"If Barca sign him, he would be welcome."
With little competition for places in his position, Alba is primed to travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
