Valencia’s Bruno eager to bounce back against Osasuna after being thumped by Real Madrid
Valencia’s full-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 and Madrid locked heads on Saturday, April 23, at Mestalla where Los Blancos thumped six goals past Los
Che defence.
The right-back was talking ahead of his team’s upcoming fixture against the relegation battling Osasuna and seemed determined to be back on the winning track. The 30-year-old regarded Valencia’s defeat as a matter of lost focus and concentration ahead of
the tie, but now insists that the team would come out hard in their next fixture.
Bruno added, "Sunday's match will be different to the game against Madrid for many different reasons. We know all about the difficulties of playing in Pamplona and we'll show a different mentality. The conclusions we drew from Saturday's match were far from
positive. We've worked on our flaws throughout the week and will make sure they don't happen again. The game against Osasuna will be a big challenge and we're keen to bounce back."
The former Almeria man claimed that Valencia have the work force which could run over any side on its day. He told that the players were left hurt after losing to the Whites and have been training really hard since that day in order to find themselves back
on the winning ways.
The Catalonian defender joined La Liga outfit in 2009 but has only managed 26 League appearances so far. He also has represented the Catalonian national side on five occasions.
The 30-year-old also seemed delighted at Valencia’s current season and further urged his side to keep their focus intact as the season draws to a close. He concluded by saying, "The loss against Madrid hurt, but it will eventually help us. It's been a pretty
good season for Valencia and we'll do our utmost to finish on a positive note."
Valencia are currently third in the League table with 63 points and would love to finish the season on a high with five games left in the season.
