Valenciennes have surprised many this season with their impressive performances in the Ligue 1. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Sanchez’s side is currently fifth in the league with 26 points on the table after 16 games. However, Tuesday’s clash against the Parisiens will provide
a stern test to VA, who would be hoping to get something out of the game.
Paris Saint-Germain coach, Carlo Ancelotti knows that his side needs to be at their best if they want to get a positive result against a dangerous looking Valenciennes side. The Italian, while talking to reporters, stated that their Tuesday’s opponents have
been in tremendous form this season and the visiting teams have found it hard to score goals there.
The coach added that it is an important match in many aspects and the need is to continue the fine run by claiming maximum points on road. Talking about Olympique Lyonnais' game, Ancelotti said that PSG are not thinking about the match about the league leaders,
and their sole concern is the upcoming game against Les Atheniens.
"Valenciennes are a very competitive team, very dangerous at home, and they don't concede many goals. We have to be 100% focussed on this game, and not be thinking about the Lyon match at the end of the week."
Valenciennes’ coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sanchez-c10062 knows that VA are in for a big test on Tuesday and his players need to put extra effort on the pitch to get something out of the match. The coach said that they need to be extra careful against PSG and they cannot let
them take control of the game.
"It's a small club against a very big one, because even big clubs are not on their level. We're going to have to be at 200 per cent, and show a lot of enthusiasm and generosity. In addition to the technical and tactical aspects, we'll have to let ourselves
go."
Sanchez believes that although Paris Saint-Germain have an incredible squad with a number of world class players, they are still beatable. Les Parisiens are not invincibles and Valenciennes should play with confidence against them.
“We know they have an incredible squad, but we've said to ourselves that they're not invincible.”
Last Season
In the previous season, Valenciennes threw away a two goal lead to lose 4-3 in the end in the Week 36 at Stade du Hainaut.
