With three goals in 20 games, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 striker is what many people call a luxury player.
The 25-year-old is not a regular starter. In his 20 games, the Malian has made just 5 starts but still remains one of the most productive players in VAFC considering the amount of time he takes in scoring goals.
On Saturday night, the striker came on as a sub with the scored locked at 0-0. However, his arrival changed things as he scored five minutes after appearing. The final score was 2-0 but Samassa played a big role in this.
The striker was also very happy at being able to guide his team to a victory that could prove very important by the end of this campaign.
“Let’s say I’m successful right now. I make my goals and give critical input which is good for the team. It’s good for morale because it has not been easy for the past six months. There injuries and I have been away from the group. These goals do much good.
They released me and gave me more confidence.”

However, if Samassa continues to pile up goals whenever called upon, he could see himself become a regular starting XI player which has not been the case for a long time indeed.
At the age of 25, one can argue that Samassa could start showing signs of becoming a big striker for his club.
Furthermore, if he keeps on scoring regularly and Sanchez chooses to use him for cameo appearances, a club could consider signing the player who has all weapons to become a great striker and is under contract at VAFC until June 2013.
