as far as the false lidar readings on Valentines go, I've gotten several before my self. I called up Valentine Research and they told me that it occurs often near neon signs, which was the case several times. The false is annoying, but can be alleviated by moving the unit a little. On the other hand I've gotten some falses in the middle of nowhere Illinois in daylight, so obviuosly, occasionally something else falses lidar also.As far as radar bands go, I'm sure everybody with a Valentine experiences a lot of falsing from other detectors. It's annoying, however easily spotted by the constant signal that does not increase with a constant distance between cars. Hiren Thakar email:
