Valentino Rossi nominated at Principe de Asturias Awards?

What can I say? If someone still thinks that Rossi is not that good, he should take a good look at this! Only great sportsmen and women are being nominated so I guess it's not all about winning the championship.

I hope this fact to help him in the new season and to encourage him to fight against Ducati and all other teams.

Is there really anybody out there that doubts how good Rossi is.  I find that hard to swallow. but there again people have come out of very long coma's.  surely they can be forgiven.

I think he needs this award more then anything at the moment.

It will take his mind of the bad year he had and with any luck take his mind off this whole tax situation.

I mean, really, a guy who is paid over € 45 million ( approx £30 million Sterling ) a year is not going to fiddle the tax man. With that kind of money you dont NEED to.

I hope the award will cheer him up and get him back on his feet for 2008.

That's great.Well Vale absolutely deserves it and I'm very glad for him.It has been a difficult year for Rossi,all great sportsmen have had at least one troubled season.He's the best rider and that's out of question.

I hope that he'd reveal more of his potential next season.
