Valentino Rossi says that he will do his best in the remainder of the season – MotoGP news
Valentino Rossi of team Ducati says that they will work hard to maximize their performance in the latter half of the current season.
He posted in his official twitter account that it feels as shame for him that he was not able to be competitive with Ducati. He added that it would have been satisfying for him and all other guys related, if he had shown performance.
Rossi posted, “It's been a real shame failing to be competitive with Ducati, it would have been a nice satisfaction for me and all the guys who have worked with me.”
Furthermore, he said that the team will keep trying to the end to achieve success. He added that there are still eight races to go in the current 2012 season and they will work at their maximum to do some impressive races.
“Anyway it's still eight GPs to the end, we'll work at the maximum to be able to do some good races,” the Italian rider added.
Vittoriano Guareschi manager of team Ducati said it is positive that Rossi has made his decision because now things are clear and everyone would be able to focus on their work related to improving the bike so that Rossi and Nicky Hayden can finish the current
season winning some races.
Until now, Ducati riders have not been able to show impressive performances on the circuit, despite the fact that both riders are former champions.
Rossi has announced that he will be riding with team Yamaha Factory Racing. Ducati has not yet announced who will be riding the bike in place of the Italian rider.
Riders have different opinions related to the decision made by Rossi. Casey Stoner of team Repsol Honda has not favoured the decision he said that Rossi wanted to go back to Yamaha from day one. He has also said that the problems with the bike are not that
big and can be resolved. Although they share a considerable rivalry, the Australian rider has already announced that he will retire from the next 2013 season because he is not enjoying the profession.
