Valery Karpin admits Spartak Moscow are considering the option to lure Tottenham Hotspur’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Pavlyuchenko-c31639 back to the Russian Premier League
As the Russian Premier League season has come to a winter break, and since Spartak Moscow are not involved in any European competition, the Myaso head coach Valery Karpin believes that the upcoming transfer window is the right
time to strengthen the Russian outfit.
Karpin is of the belief that the Moscow-based club are doing fine defensively but they need to add offensive-minded players, who can provide them with a bag full of goals.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-CF-c40864 player went on to highlight the possibility of bringing back the Tottenham Hotspur misfit, Roman Pavlyuchenko, to the Moscow-based club. Karpin is of the view that Pavlyuchenko is one of the several options
that the Svinyi are considering at the moment.
A superstar during his time with Spartak, his stint in North London has neither benefited the club nor the player. He remains one of the best strikers to don a Spartak Moscow shirt, having scored 69 goals in 141 appearances for
the club, as he helped them win the Russian Cup in 2003.
Renowned for his skilful nature and a keen eye for a goal, the former Rotor Volgograd attacker has played an inspirational role for the Russian outfit.
The Myaso faithful might have tarnished the memories of the promising forward after his 13 million pound transfer to the London-based club, but they will still welcome the 29-year-old back, keeping in mind the contributions made
by the promising striker in difficult times.
"Pavlyuchenko is one of those players that are on our wish list. We are considering other option as well.” The former CSKA Moscow player was quoted as saying.
Speaking on the 19-year-old attacking midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jano-Ananidze-c17866, the Russian tactician said:
“We are considering loaning him out because it will be beneficial for the club and the player himself.”
The Intertoto Cup winner went on to admit that Spartak have enough strength in their defence and identified Rodri, Marek Suchy, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergei-Bryzgalov-c32952 as the defensive options.
Karpin praised Rojo and revealed that the Argentine national has a bright future with the Russian outfit.
