The Swedish International has revealed the reasons behind his move to Spartak Moscow this summer despite strong interest from Rubin Kazan

Kallstrom became the Moscow-based club’s fourth signing during the summer transfer window, after Romulo, Juan Insaurralde and Ilya Kutepov had earlier joined the club.
The Swede, who rejected a chance to join Rubin Kazan, heaped praise on Spartak’s General Director, Valery Karpin, saying that he admired the Russian tactician since his childhood.
The former Rennes midfielder insisted that he is glad to sign for a club that has won the most league titles since the inception of the Russian top division. The Myaso have won the league title record nine times.
