The Well-known Russian football expert had his say on the latest encounter between the Koni and Lokomotiv Moscow and commented on Roman Pavlyuchenko’s performance.
CSKA Moscow suffered their first Russian Premier League defeat against Lokomotiv Moscow during the third league round at Luzhniki stadium.

The fact that CSKA have dropped excessive points during the third league round disappoints Valery Nepomniachi, who believes that a couple of similar results would deprive the Koni of a UEFA Champions League spot. The Moscow-based
club are now just a point ahead of the Red-Greens.
Nepomniachi lamented the latest defeat and urged the Russian outfit to alter the situation in the remaining matches of the season. He warned them against complacency and admitted that they have to blame themselves after plunging
their season into disarray.
He went on to admit that he was surprised by the outcome, as he was not expecting Lokomotiv to win on the away turf. Nepomniachi admitted that CSKA made defensive mistakes during the first period and the opposition rightly punished
them for their casual display.
Speaking on Roman Pavlyuchenko’s performance during the match, Nepomniachi hailed the Russian striker, admitting that the former Tottenham Hotspur man is getting back to his best after having a couple of miserable seasons at the
White Hart Lane.
"He looked dangerous against CSKA and he got the reward in the latest match. He has pleased the fans as he is getting back to his best. This goal will give him a lot of confidence. Lokomotiv were right to sign the out-of-favour

Nepomniachi criticized Ahmed Musa for putting in a poor league performance. He revealed that the Koni strikers would have scored had the Nigerian national provided them killer balls from the right flank.
