Valery Reinhold urges Spartak Moscow to sign Zenit St. Petersburg’s Igor Denisov - Football News
Valery Reinhold has tipped Spartak Moscow to sign Zenit St. Petersburg defensive midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rafael-Carioca-c30355.
“Denisov is one of the best defensive midfielders in Russia without any doubt. Karpin said he would not mind seeing this player at Spartak though he believed that this transfer was highly unlikely. Denisov was
prepared to leave Zenit in January after a rift with his coach. I want to see him at Spartak and I think he can replace Carioca.
“Willian is my favorite. He plays like if he belongs to Spartak. His style and the way he strikes the ball look familiar to me. But I do not think that Anzhi will sell him after just six months,” Reinhold was
quoted as saying.
News in Russian media suggests that Denisov is not happy at Petrovsky stadium after falling out with team coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Spalletti. If speculations are to be believed, Spartak Moscow, Tottenham Hotspur and Anzhi
Makhachkala want to sign the 5ft 9in tall central midfielder.
The London-based club is finding difficult to fill the void after Luka Modric’s departure to Real Madrid last summer. Denisov could be a best solution to their problems as they are lacking enough creativity down
the middle of the park.
Spurs are looking for options after a below par finish to the league campaign despite investing in the access of 30 million Euros last summer.
Scott Parker, who arrived at the White Hart Lane from West Ham United earlier this season, did not impress in his first season while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Bentley-c10435 spend much of the season on the sidelines
after sustaining respective injuries.
Reinhold went on to tell Spartak that they should also consider signing Rubin Kazan’s Cesar Navas and Anzhi Makhachkala’s Willian. He said that Navas can make a phenomenal defensive partnership along with Salvatore
Bocchetti at Spartak Stadium.
Speaking on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Willian-c36898, Reinhold said that he is delighted to see the Brazilian striker in the Russian Championship and stressed that the 24-year-old will only get better in the seasons to come.
