Valley Of Destiny destined to win Maiden Stakes
Valley Of Destiny is destined to attain top spot in the high-profile competition of Investec Asset Management Maiden Stakes that will be held at Epsom racecourse on Wednesday, April 25.
The Richard Hannon-trained young colt has been at the peak of form since staging his debut on March 24, 2012. He is keen to break his maiden by winning the Maiden Stakes today.
In the Class 5 contest over a distance of 1 mile and 114 yards, the novice runner will face 11 rivals including Benzanno, Brockwell, Cyrus sod, Engrossing, Gucci D‘Oro, Handy Chat, Leitrim King, Linkable, Mr Fickle, Sir Dylan and Sunpass.
With just two races on his career chart, Valley Of Destiny has earned his first favourite tag that will surely encourage him to seal a sterling success in today’s marathon.
The three-year-old maverick sprinter finished 3rd in his maiden outing and went ahead to elegantly claim a runner-up rank in the very next race on April 9. The way he performed in both these events made him a blue-eyed runner of the punters.
The brilliant colt is likely to unleash a rock-solid run in the coming contest. If he manages to read the ground condition properly, his chances to thrive will be more than 90 percent.
However, Sunpass and Benzanno can create some hurdles for the favourite runner.
Sunpass excellently finished 7th against 16 competitors in his maiden race on November 2, 2011. The John Gosden-trained colt went ahead to register a runner-up position on April 9, 2012. He is awash with confidence at the moment.
On the other hand, Benzanno has achieved two runner-up ranks in his career so far. The trainee of Andrew Balding made his debut in July 2011. The bay gelding has 6 races to his name.
It is predicted that there will be an awe-inspiring clash in the Maiden Stakes. Valley Of Destiny will have to show extra-ordinary fighting spirit in order to keep his head high. Let us enjoy the fantastic action. Good luck to all the contestants.
