I have a 1966 World Series Game #3 L.A. vs. Balt. baseball card and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was worth or knew where I could find out what it was worth. The front of the card says "Blair's Homer Defeats L.A." I tried TuffStuff.com and couldn't find it, and Beckett.com charges money for a price guide.Does anyone know how I can find the value of the card for free?

  1. the "value" of the card is whatever someone will pay for it, which sounds like a cop out answer, i know. That said, try putting it on ebay and see what kind of bids you get. You never know, maybe there is a paul blair fan out there that will pay for that card, it's just a matter of finding them. And my understanding is, if you don't get a good offer (on ebay), you don't have to sell it. Good luck.

  2. your local library has a becketts guide, you could go there & look it up. Probably a couple dollars!!!!!!!

  3. $2-$5 & I looked at price guide from 2005 at the library & I am there right now  but I don't think it went any higher in value since then to be honest

  4. Dude i've been selling card for 20 years the card is only worth what people think they are worth if the card is worth 100 dollars to them its worth 100 if its worth a dollar to them its only worth that.  Its  what people pay don't believe all that beckett junk just remember one thing its a piece of cardboard with a famous athlete on it nothing more cards  aint worth what they use to be thats for sure

  5. You can purchase a beckett for about $6. But chances are, you're going to end up sepnding more for the beckett than for what the card is worth.
