Question:

Value of Presidential Hall of Fame Coins?

We've got an old, cardboard holder for 37 presidential coins. They look like they're copper plated, but it could be brass or something else. Wondering the value of each coin- we don't have the full set, but a large majority of them. Goes from Washington to Nixon, and has a few facts on the respective President on the back of each coin. Any links, photos, or just some general help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  2. Over the tears there has been a lot of companies that put out presidential medals. From the 1960's-1990's a lot of oil companies such as Shell have made the boards to put them in and a person got a new medal to put in it every week or or so with a fill up or so many gallons. Some private mints sold them through a get 2 a month program or something like that. Unless the cardboard holder has some info or the medals have a company name on them you may never know who made them. One thing the U.S. has is a lot of different presidential medals around. I have seen boxes of them in antique shops but few at coin dealers. I wish I could help more but it is such a large field.
