Value of The Beatles "Please Please Me" LP?

My record guide doesn't include it since it's an import, it's from Parlophone and has a black label with white lettering, the back says first published 1963.

  2. You might try www.goldminemag.com. I use it to locate collectible records. I found the following article on their site about the Please Please Me LP:

  3. You could buy a copy of "Please Please Me" on vinyl right up into the 1990s, and it still said, "first published 1963", so that doesn't mean anything. There are a few label variations for Parlophone lps, but white on black was the most common. Mono copies fetch a little more, but otherwise it's not particularly rare. I would hazard a guess at $15-20 if it's in perfect, near-mint condition.

    Note the link given by CL is for "Introducing the Beatles" which was an American album on VJ, not "Please Please Me" on Parlophone in the UK.
