Value of a room addition?

I am adding a room that is about 10' x 15'. It will be connected to the central heat and air and also have two double windows.I am kind of tossed up between hard wood and carpet. I am wondering the approximate value it will increase my home value. Any ideas?

This isn't something which can be answered without knowing where you live. In some areas adding a room will add more value to a house than in other areas. The best way to get a reliable answer would be to ask a local estate agent/realtor.
