Value of old toy cars?

My grandfather is selling old toy cars that he's been collecting for many years now and he wants to sell some but he wants to know how much they're worth first. Is there a site I could go to and find out how much some of them are worth?

  It all depends on what type of Toy Cars he has. Certain brands attract certain collectors. There are many chat/forums dedicated to certain diecast that can give you a better idea. My suggestion is to research it that way. Good examples would be:

Hot Wheels

Matchbox

Dinky

Corgi

Tonka

Schuco

All these brands have dedicated boards and a quick Google search will bring up several.

Look them up on Ebay. That is the best indicator of resale value.
