Value of the US dollar in other countries?

Does anyone know a convenient way to find out what the dollar can buy in a country. I'm looking to travel somewhere for a longer period of time where the dollar is worth a lot relative to the local currency.

well... u can go 2 the UAE... 1$=3.6dhs... and 3.6Dhs can buy ALOT!!

Well in Mexico in Cancun it's worth a lot. Usually in south America it's worth alot.
